KPV 5mg
What is it?KPV is a tiny tripeptide made from three amino acids – Lysine–Proline–Valine. It’s a naturally occurring fragment of a larger hormone called α-MSH, which is involved in inflammation, immunity and skin responses. Research has shown that this small sequence (KPV) carries much of the anti-inflammatory power of the full hormone.
Because of this, KPV has attracted interest for its potential to help calm irritation and support barrier function in the gut and skin, as well as its possible antimicrobial effects.
Why people choose KPV
KPV is often used within wellness and aesthetic protocols to support:
Gut comfort & inflammation balance – studied in models of intestinal inflammation and colitis, where it appears to help reduce inflammatory signalling.
Skin calm & barrier support – explored for use in skincare and cosmetic products to help soothe irritation, support healing and improve the appearance of redness or stressed skin.
Post-procedure recovery – sometimes included in protocols aimed at supporting repair after skin treatments, alongside good aftercare.
General inflammatory balance – KPV is widely discussed for its potential role in modulating key inflammatory pathways and cytokines in experimental settings.
At SK VITS, KPV is positioned as a support tool that can sit alongside lifestyle changes, nutrition and other targeted products – not as a stand-alone “cure”.
